The space, the pools, restaurant and bar. The dedication of Team Laborde. Domaine Laborde offers so much more.

Laborde offers more than most sites and perhaps the only improvements I would like to see is a bit of green energy to off set the environmental impact of all those staying.

Domaine Laborde - The Team that goes the Extra Mile

Overall review:

Laborde has plenty of space so you can find yours. The Team are just excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Two pools & sauna again mean you can find your space.

Over the three years we have stayed Francoise and Jacky have made many improvements and I am sure next year we will see a few more.

I thank you for welcoming me to visit your beautiful place for 4 days 17-21/7. Naturiste Danois. Merci de tout l’equipe. Mes favourites, Sarah dans le reception, Monsieur Teulie et Jacqueline, tous les serviteurs, et Black au bar. I enjoyed the nature, the restaurant, the bar, the friday barbeque was fantastic, also enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, the one outside was often too full.

An extra swimming pool. Outdoor pools full. Larger selection, more goods, in the grocery store epicerie.

Accommodation review:

The location, the view of forest and hills. The Agréable is well designed and built. Great terrace, nice outside with beach chairs and table with parasol .

For the future I recommend installing climatization/air condition that can both provide heat and cool down. (I know it is expensive). Maybe television.

Absolutely brilliant

Overall review:

This was our first venture into naturist camping so we only booked 2 nights as a trial. I was excited but my wife was particularly nervous. We were greeted by very friendly staff who later met us on our pitch to check we were settling in. Pitch was level and easily accessible in our MoHo. Bar great, Restaurant indoor and outdoor pools and staff were amazing. We soon felt at ease and stayed a few extra days, and we were soon strolling around enjoying naturism to the full in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Full marks to you all. We will be back for longer next time.

Garden of Eden

Overall review:

The perfect destination to unwind amongst beautiful nature and surroundings. Since Francois took over it improves every year and the team go out of their way to welcome us and help. Nothing is too much trouble to make for a most enjoyable stay. The new snack bar is a very welcome addition offering a wide choice, reasonable prices and a very nice environment in which to enjoy. There's a nice family atmosphere during peak season but it can become very quiet and full of senior citizens out of season. We didn't want to leave and we'll be back again next year.

More vegetarian options at the restaurant and snack bar would be appreciated.

Fully equipped accommodation, very clean and tidy.

The pillows are awful, so we brought our own, and the chalet could do with a fly screen. The communal shower block need rubber mats as the area becomes very slippery and dangerous. Some wasp control around the chalets is needed. We always bring our own plates as the ones provided are too small.

Reception, easy check in, spoke good English. I enjoyed Laborde more than the other major site in the area (Coudxxx). More multi-mixed guests from all countries, not mainly Holland.

Best camp site experience ever!

Overall review:

We really liked Domaine Laborde. The pool area is fantastic, although the demand for loungers must be extreme in the very busiest weeks. The bar and restaurant look very nice, but we did not use them however. The campers were all very respectful and very quiet. The site is very tidy and clean. The wash & toilet blocks are well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The electricity could have been closer (we have a 15m cable) but the staff found an extension. All in all we had a very pleasant 3 nights and will definitely book again, but for longer next time!

Accommodation review:

Our pitch had a good balance of dappled shade and sunlight and was reasonably flat and level.

Electricity points should be within 10/15m of each pitch I think, but as long as an extension is sure to be available then that is not a problem. It is not reasonable to expect campers to have more than 15m of cable. We came with the usual large three-pin plug, but needed a domestic type plug, again the site had an adaptor. The hikes were not great due to the constant flies in the face and not seeing much other than trees and bushes, but that is not the camp-site's fault. It would be our preference to have the car by the pitch, but the car park was very close

A nice and friendly camp site. Good cycling around the region with lots to visit and see. Very relaxing when back at the camp ground. Pool and water slide are the main focus areas, but there is plenty of other space and other things to do.

I'm nit-picking here, but the pool could be a touch warmer. It is nice to hop in on a hot day, but I find it too cool to stay in for a longer time.

I have stayed here 5 times before and the place is beautiful site with great hosts and facilities. The landscape and secluded shaded spacious pitches are great. The site is spotless and year on year they make improvements. The food in the restaurant is excellent and good value and the recent addition of the snack bar has improved the options even further. The pool is excellent with sufficient loungers. Can’t recommend this naturist site more highly.

The decking area around the pool could be expanded. It’s sufficient but more space would help.

A beautiful, tranquil naturist camping

The site is fabulous! Lots of space, beautiful trees and good facilities. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area has some lovely little bastide towns where you can find interesting historic architecture, local markets and nice restaurants. Laborde is also a very eco-friendly place!

We stayed in a comfortable chalet, simply but adequately equipped, with a bathroom and lots of hot water!

Fantastic Place, Fantastic People

The people are fantastic, always bending over backwards to help and make your stay enjoyable . The indoor pool is great when the sun isn't quite where you want it.

Open the water slides mid June so they are available more for the 'big kids'.

The layout, the cleanliness, the equipment provided

When it's hot day the sun late in the day makes the veranda and that side of the building unbearably hot. A possible solution would be roll down screens to protect the area from direct sunlight at the edge of the roof area as several residents when we're stopped had to set up camp behind the chalets to protect from the sun

An enjoyable second stay

Overall review:

First time since 2019. We had a good time then but there were a few shortcomings. We returned after reading a review on the British Naturism forum. We enjoyable our stay. I liked walking around the site and into the woods. A pre-dinner drink in the bar was also nice. We appreciate the improvements to accommodation the owners have made. The installation of the snack bar was a great idea. We used it several times and were very happy. Best of all, there is now Wifi everywhere! The food in the restaurant was good. The owners work VERY hard and we noticed.

There used to be a market on Wednesday, but not on this stay which was a shame. It was still low season and so not a lot happened in the evenings. It's a tranquil domaine, but at the same time, we felt quite isolated down in the field. Not much socialising in the bar area either. People were friendly, but they were very chatty even when I spoke to them in Dutch or French. There wasn't a community feel. Maybe it is different if you camp.

Accommodation review:

We liked the Mobilehome Premium, the large decking was lovely and also the size of the covered terrace. Inside it was spacious and lots of storage space. The mosquito net on bedroom windows is a wonderful idea.

The beds were awful! The mattress was just a piece of foam with no support at all. That really needs to change as we did not sleep well during our stay. We brought our own pillows from previous experience, but that didn't help. I miss not having a coffee filter machine. The Senseo is fine, but it's not as popular in the UK as in the NL, so they will not know to bring pads with them. There was a freezer but no ice cube trays, so we could not make ice cubes for our drinks. The terrain of the field is such that it retains water. It was very wet around the house and not pleasant.
